Shopping at Metro-Dent is quick and convenient.
Just like a real shopping cart, you can add items to it and remove items from it. When you see an item you want in our store, just navigate to the product detail page and click the 'Add' button to take you to your own personal shopping cart. On this initial page, you will notice that on the box to the top-right of the page the price for the item, any volume discounts and if the item is in stock.
Searching For Products
You can search for products in our store by clicking on the appropriate product category on the left menu. This will then provide you with a list of available products within that category. Alternatively, you can enter the name or a description of the product you are looking for into the search products input box located on the left menu bar.
You can also enter more than one search criteria by entering multiple words separated by a space. For example, if you wanted to look for Crosstex products and Gypsums products, you would enter “crosstex gypsums” into the search box.
Once you have entered the appropriate text click on ‘Go!’. The store will then search for the appropriate products and present them to you as a list of items with the keyword highlighted.
Adding And Removing Items From Your Cart
Once you are ready to purchase, simply indicate the quantity you would like and click the “Add” button. Congratulations! You have now virtually added an item to your cart. From there you can decide to increase or decrease the quantity you are purchasing by simply typing in the new quantity desired and clicking the “Update” button, or even delete an item if you change your mind by clicking on the “Delete” button to the right of the product line. The shopping cart will tally up your purchase for you (see box on the left of your screen). Please note that taxes are not applied until Checkout. You can view your cart at any time during the process by clicking on ‘Shopping Cart’ on the Top Navigation Bar.
Checkout Your Cart - Completing Your Order
When you have finished shopping, just click on “>> Proceed To Checkout” button and follow the instructions given. You will be asked for your billing, shipping and payment information. Fill out the appropriate steps, verify your information and click on the “Save >>” button, and you'll become an official Metro-Dent shopper! All you have to do next is make note of the order number you were given. You will also receive a email confirmation of your order.
Tracking Your Order
Once you have placed an order and created an online account, you can log on to the site and view the status of your orders and your order history at anytime. Simply click on ‘My Account’ on the top navigation, enter your email address and password and click ‘Log On’. You will then be redirected to your account page.
